Interested in being a leader and influencing the direction of your club? Know someone who you think would be would be a good addition? Make a nomination for the Board of Directors.
Has someone shown a deep, ongoing dedication to the club? Perhaps a you know a new curler who has embraced both the spirit and practice of our sport. Or maybe there’s someone who has been a great representative of our club out in the world.
Each year the Annual Meeting provides the Potomac Curling Club an opportunity to acknowledge individual members for their contributions to the club and its members.

The Potomac Curling Club invites you (and sweetheart) to come and try curling on February 14th between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Please register for a time slot and be prepared to spend about an hour out on the ice. Please wear clean, flat rubber soled shoes (sneakers). All other equipment is provided. Potomac Curling Club will be hosting a training mini-camp on January 31, 2015 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The price is $75.00 and lunch is included.
Start 2015 off right!
You may have heard stories of it from your friends. They’re all true. It’s a two-game, not-so-serious “bonspiel” with unusual rules that change every end. One end you may be throwing rocks to the house on the opposite end of a different sheet. The next end, you may be delivering with a stick, or trying to come as close to the house without going in. Or maybe you’ll need one of those bowling pins the little rockers use. Never before will your inability to hit the broom pay off so well.

Potomac was well represented at the 2014 GNCC Club Playdowns. Congratulations to Dawn Findlay, Majik Jones, Susan Armiger and Dominique Banville, who went undefeated at 4-0 to become the GNCC Women’s Club Playdowns Champions!
Ann Drummie, Laura Heuer, Stacy Slette and Janice Barber clinched the second place spot.
