2015 Final Fling!

final fling 2015 logo

It’s time for Final Fling, our end-of-the-ice curling party!  We’ll be having Red, Hot & Blue for dinner starting at 6:30pm, and then at 7pm, we will be wreaking havoc on the ice we so carefully groom all year on by ice skating on it! (Payback time for all those picked rocks and lines that fall to the wall.)

Activities will also include shuffleboard on ice, ice art by you, and perhaps a little human curling. Get the flyer (pdf).

Come eat, drink and be merry with your fellow PCC members as we say Adios! to the ice for the 2014-2015 season.  It’s only $7 per person ($4 for kids), and all you have to bring is a dessert to share.  We’ll empty the cabinet for drinks. [Read more…]

Help make events successful: Volunteer!

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the Elisabeth Childs Challenge a success! We’re still not done. Our signature event, The Cherry Blossom, is in two weeks. This event requires many hands to be successful. Please volunteer!

2015 Hangover Spiel Registration Now Open

Start 2015 off right!

You may have heard stories of it from your friends. They’re all true. It’s a two-game, not-so-serious “bonspiel” with unusual rules that change every end. One end you may be throwing rocks to the house on the opposite end of a different sheet. The next end, you may be delivering with a stick, or trying to come as close to the house without going in. Or maybe you’ll need one of those bowling pins the little rockers use. Never before will your inability to hit the broom pay off so well.
