This league is classified as "social" so that everyone, including new curlers, can participate. But the league is intended for teams of all levels, even playdowns-level teams. The league employs a "Flex Schedule", which is especially convenient for teams who are often out of town for bonspiels or playdowns. Teams earn 3 points for a win and 1 point for a loss. At the end of each half, the top two point-earning teams play in the championship match. The league also offers play in the WCF Mixed Doubles format.

League Results
Have you ever wondered who won the Capital League in 2005? Or Ladies League in 2006? We have the results available, summarized of course, on our archived Annual Results Summary page. It also includes other notable names, since 2005.
Curling Programs
Slightly less formal than our leagues are our Curling Programs. These do not require the same level of committment and appeal to a wide variety of curlers.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Extravaganza
The definition of a "League" offering fixed teams, play-offs, and trophy awards does not apply. This event is not organized in seasonal fixed teams but does allows teams to compete. This event is termed an "Extravaganza", because most teams are made up of sign-in participants each Saturday, and offers a fun and social time with family and friends. We welcome new curlers to come and give it a try on Saturday mornings from 8:15 to 11:30. Try to arrive by 8:15 so we can get you equipped with sliders etc. Wear warm, loose fitting clothes and clean flat soled shoes. Sneakers are OK.
Daytime Curling (Wednesday)
This is a very relaxed curling program for players of all levels. From week to week, we play a variety of formats, including team play, doubles play, singles play, fun practice drills, and mini tournaments. Whatever the participants who show up on any given week would like to do, we then go ahead and do that. We look forward to having you join us!
Team/Singles/Mixed Doubles Ladders
The Ladders are three season-long competitions for teams, mixed pairs, and individuals of all levels. You many join the Ladders at any point during the season. Teams from all team-entry leagues are welcome to join the Team Ladder. Whenever you play a game versus another ladder opponent (at any time), you'll move up or down the ladder, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly, depending on the rank of your opponent. At the end of the season, the top four teams, pairs, and singles face off in ladder-style playoffs to determine the Ladder winners.
Tuesday Matinee
This program is fun, relaxed, and family friendly. We coordinate each session "on the fly" as we find out how many curlers will attend. We may play team games, doubles games, singles matches, or do practice drills, based on the preferences of the members attending on a given Tuesday. Open to all PCC members. Ideal for new curlers.
