The league employs a "Flex Schedule", which is especially convenient for teams who are often out of town for bonspiels or playdowns. Teams earn 3 points for a win and 1 point for a loss. The definition of a "League" offering fixed teams, play-offs, and trophy awards does not apply. This event is not organized in seasonal fixed teams but does allows teams to compete. This event is termed an "Extravaganza", because most teams are made up of sign-in participants each Saturday, and offers a fun and social time with family and friends. We welcome new curlers to come and give it a try on Saturday mornings from 8:15 to 11:30. Try to arrive by 8:15 so we can get you equipped with sliders etc. Wear warm, loose fitting clothes and clean flat soled shoes. Sneakers are OK.

Whenever you play a game versus another ladder opponent (at any time), you'll move up or down the ladder, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly, depending on the rank of your opponent. At the end of the season, the top four teams, pairs, and singles face off in ladder-style playoffs to determine the Ladder winners.
