You can’t really expect great improvement merely by playing in one league game a week. 16 stones is not enough. Tuesday Matinee gives you an opportunity to refine technique, hone your skills, perhaps work on a weak aspect of your game that you don’t feel comfortable exploring during a league game. Tuesday Matinee means never having to say you’re sorry! This is a relaxed, fun, and pressure-free environment. There are no league standings here. Share and receive advice. Try out, and be mentored in, a position out of your comfort level, such as skip or vice, even as a first year player, in a non-threatening friendly game. Practice on a side sheet: we have some great drills! Or just come out and satisfy your curling craving! Play an extra game!
We play full games, 3-on-3, doubles, and/or singles, and/or simply practice together, according to the number of participants and participants’ desires.
Let Us Know You’re Coming!
We ask that you sign up for Tuesday matinee so we know who is coming. Many people have to leave work early and drive some distance to get here, and it is good for everyone to know we will have a quorum. You can sign-up up to 10 days in advance on our reservation page. Please cancel your registration or contact the league coordinator if you cannot make it.
