Bob Pelletier Receives the GNCC Outstanding Service Award

Bob Pelletier was presented the Grand National Curling Club’s Outstanding Service Award at the Grand National Curling Club’s Annual Meeting at Topsail Beach, North Carolina in May by GNCC President Dick McCartney.

Bob is the 14th person and first member of Potomac Curling Club to receive this prestigious Award. This award recognizes GNCC individuals who have made significant contributions to the game of curling at the club level and/or Grand National level and/or national level for outstanding leadership; successful accomplishment of specific projects; long and devoted service to curling and other similar attributes.

BOB PELLETIER. ” Bob has been an active member of the GNCC and Potomac Curling Club for decades. Bob was very instrumental in the Potomac Curling Club progressing from an arena club to one with four dedicated sheets of ice. He is a Past President of the GNCC, past Secretary of the USCA, and our former representative to the USCA. Bob has recently co-chaired the International Curling Fellowship of Rotarians Twenty-first World Curling Championships at the Potomac Curling Club. Thank you Bob, for all of your dedication to the sport of curling.”
